Learn more about us

Builders,

I have goosebumps as I type this down. It all feels so surreal. It was only a few days ago that we shared with you the wonderful news of Builder.ai making it to The Europas 2020 Shortlist as one of the ‘Hottest AI’ Tech Startups in Europe. As a next step, Builder.ai was invited to pitch LIVE on the Europas platform, on Tuesday, June 16th, 11:00 AM - 11:40 AM GMT.

For us and our Chief Wizard, Sachin Dev Duggal, it was victory by itself to be sharing the stage with outstanding brands across industries in Europe. Now, adding to that honour is this piece of good news we want to share with you:

Builder.ai bagged the hottest 'AI Startup Award’ at The Europas 2020.

Winner-Builder.ai-at-Europas

This win comes only days after our win at CogX Innovation Award 2020 under the 'Best COVID-19 Innovation for Recovery' category. Builder.ai was recognized for its efforts to support the digital transformation of SMBs amid COVID-19, recently launching a suite of pre-packaged retail and delivery apps, called Studio Store, with the first few months of live service offered for free. As you know, in the last few years, we have been on a mission to make the process of building a digital future more accessible, cost effective and efficient. To that end, we have been helping businesses and the people behind them use this time to leapfrog ahead. As rewarding as it is to simply watch our customers’ ideas come alive digitally, it also feels amazing to be seen and appreciated for it.

Quick recap on CognitionX

CogX is the world’s leading AI festival with over 15,000 people in attendance from the highest levels of business, government, industry and research. This year, the event surpassed the usual 30,000 target attendee number and ended on 44,213 registrants, making it the biggest tech event in the world with 900+ speakers,1000+ sessions, 100+ side events and 4000+ meetings in just three days!

All about The Europas

The Europas was originally formed in 2009 by Techcrunch editor-at-large Mike Butcher to recognize and celebrate the innovation emerging from Europe’s burgeoning tech startup scene. After more than a decade of identifying Europe’s most ambitious and successful startups, including Spotify, Transferwise, Soundcloud and Babylon Health, The Europas has grown into the premier awards for Europe’s hottest tech startups.

In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Europas was quick to pivot and therefore went virtual this year for the first time. What’s more, they also announced that a percentage of proceeds from the event will be donated to charities helping to fight the pandemic – which is what made it all the more special for us to be a part of it.

Gratitude and metta

I speak for everyone at Builder.ai when I say that we are truly and entirely honoured and humbled by every challenge and reward that has come our way this year. 2020 hasn’t been easy. Yet, we feel immense gratitude for the Builders who’ve brought us here today, and the Builders who work relentlessly to drive us to a digitally democratised future where it is possible for everyone to turn their ideas into reality irrespective of what they know, what they have and what they are afraid of.

We also want to thank YOU for your time, interest, feedback, love and support. In you, lies our biggest strength. We thank you from our hearts and we promise to continue to persevere and evolve each day to be everyday phenomenal.
