“I was extremely comfortable working with Builder.ai. The flexibility of choosing various features on a need-by-need basis was extremely helpful. I've already referred Builder.ai to a few of my friends.”

Creating meaningful conversations

Ylanes enables judgement-free conversations among small online groups. From the website or mobile app, people can search for the topics they’re interested in and connect with others to share their thoughts, feelings, stories and ideas. This highly curated platform gives users robust privacy options to make sure they are safe, that they connect with people who understand them and feel free to speak their minds in meaningful video and audio conversations.

A unique approach to social media

Rajesh Ivaturi, Founder of Ylanes, is passionate about solving a pressing problem that so many people face, “With current social media apps, you’re constantly performing. There are no safe spaces for people to have authentic conversations without being judged.”

Rajesh saw an opportunity for a new unique conversational platform, “I wanted to create a safe space where people can just be their true selves because there's no such space available in the physical or the digital world.”

Sharing a vision

Rajesh had a clear vision for his project from the beginning, “Ylanes is a highly curated platform with over 25 features focused on three key aspects: safety, connections, and high-quality conversations.”

To bring his vision to life, Rajesh knew he would need a team that felt like an extension of his start-up. “It's a one-of-a-kind platform so it was very important for me that the team understood what I was trying to build. The best part was all the conversations about how to build the product, which features to keep and which to remove.”

Finding the meaningful

After only launching a few months ago, the app has already crossed several key milestones. “We already have over 700 users in more than 20 different countries - many of which come from word of mouth. Our target is to cross at least 10,000 users in the next year. I'm very happy that builder is partnering with me in this journey”

But for Rajesh, the conversations happening on Ylanes are the most important part of the journey so far. People are using the platform to host a wide range of different discussions from deeply personal conversations to festive sing-alongs.
