Street View Social removes the need to hunt for information across different websites by adding an augmented reality overlay on top of Google Maps Street View. Through this interface, users can browse a targeted news feed filled with media and comments based on any location in the world. Users can sign up to create their own profiles and manage places as well as interact with other users and locations through comments and guestbook reviews. This makes it easy for people to discover the stories behind the places around them.
