In rural Portugal road safety is a big problem. Accidents are unacceptably high, particularly for pedestrians and cyclists. How do you solve this problem? Get the public involved.

Solution

App that lets locals map problems like bad crossings, broken traffic lights, defective or non-existent pavements and exactly where accidents have happened. Anyone with the app can see all the problems within 10 miles of their location.

Our help

We created the app and the integrated RSS feed, which pushes out road safety news.
